Dear brothers,
It was wonderful to meet brothers and a sister who choose to act for the community.
Today’s output, on the professional level, included: weapons skills, conscious decision-making, and alertness in combat.
Opening a corner and working inside a building, movement outside, and the sequence of actions during an incident.
We talked about a breached and open circle, and mainly we tried to create a space that unites, motivates, and allows us to focus internal resources toward improvement and the values of camaraderie.
The aspiration is that every day at least two instructors will be dedicated to the special and important event that, in one form or another, is happening across the country.
I will later write down the instructors for each day — we’ll simply enter into another meeting and training session.
The Combat for the People division and Israeli Resilience, in shared destiny for everyone — it’s exciting, fun, and above all, not taken for granted 💪🏽💪🏽💓

I’m positively amazed.
You’re awesome.
A combination of a huge, open heart and top-level professionalism.
See you later, we’ve only just begun.

I really feel like sharing this with you.
Today I took part in a training session for reserve soldiers — a slightly different kind of training.
A training that spoke about pressure and stress, one that began with a sort of focus and connection to the body, starting with breathing exercises and how they affect the body and the decision-making system.
Simply amazing — I never thought such a conversation could even take place within a military framework.
A discussion about expansion instead of contraction during an emergency.
We even did a bit of Kundalini.
Absolutely brilliant — the understanding that better fighters are those who are connected to their bodily sensations.
We talked about failure, about missing a target or not meeting a mission goal.
A discussion about conserving energy during prolonged combat.
I came back physically exhausted but really energized.
With the feeling that today’s soldiers and fighters also have other tools that I didn’t have in my time.
I hope better days will come, and that these tools will also help us return to routine faster — and take less stress and anxiety home with us.

Shaul and Amir,
You gave us an exceptional training day!
We started as individual fighters and finished the training as a unified combat force of the standby squad — we couldn’t have asked for a more meaningful and effective training.
The training content was perfectly tailored to the reference threat. The mental preparation and the reinforcement of the mindset that we must function under uncertainty while fighting within a civilian population directly address the most significant gap in the readiness of standby squads. You did it with professionalism, charisma, and a sense of national mission that is second to none.
Well done, dear brothers, may you only continue!
